You receive a "The syntax of the value for prompt 'List1' is incorrect near '[value]'" error message when you try to print a parameterized report in Microsoft CRM 1.2

SYMPTOMS

After you run a report that uses input values to complete report processing (a parameterized report) in Microsoft Business Solutions CRM 1.2, you experience the following symptoms:

When you view the report, it appears correctly on the computer screen.
When you try to print the report, you receive the following error message:
Crystal Report Viewer

The syntax of the value for prompt 'List1' is incorrect near 'value'.
Please correct the syntax and try again.

CAUSE

This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:

One of the report parameter values contains an apostrophe. For example, the report contains the following parameter value:
User's sales
Hotfix 834913 is installed on the computer that is running Microsoft CRM 1.2. For information about hotfix 834913, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
834913 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/834913/ ) You are prompted for parameters two times when you try to print a parameter-driven report in Microsoft CRM 1.2
