Your changes to the registry values for the Safe Senders list do not appear in the Safe Senders list in Outlook 2002 and in Outlook 2003

SYMPTOMS

After you modify the registry values for the Safe Senders list in the junk e-mail filtering criteria in Microsoft Office, the changes do not appear in the Safe Senders list.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, restart Outlook to see the changes that you made in the Safe Senders list.

MORE INFORMATION

After you modify the junk e-mail filter lists, it takes 30 seconds for these settings to synchronize to the junk e-mail filters. Even though the changes that you made to the Safe Senders list are in effect, they are not reflected in the junk e-mail filter lists until you restart Outlook.
