SUMMARY

This article describes some of the requirements you must have to use an HDTV with the Media Center Extender (MCX) for Xbox.

The MCX for Xbox only supports 480i resolution using the NTSC standard. Currently, the MCX device cannot display content from the Media Center Edition PC in any other HDTV formats, such as 480p, 720p, or 1080i.
