On This PageSYMPTOMSThe images in a Web archive (.mht) file no longer appear when you view the .mht file in an operating system other than the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 operating system where the .mht file is stored. Instead of the images, you may see an image placeholder, such as a blank box. This problem occurs when the following conditions are true:
CAUSEThis problem occurs because the CreateMHTMLBody method does not correctly handle spaces in the file paths of the
images. The CreateMHTMLBody method replaces spaces with the "%20" blank space
code. RESOLUTIONNote This resolution fixes only newly created Web archive files. This resolution does not fix any previously created Web archive files. Service pack informationTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows Server 2003.
