During the Mini-Setup phase, you receive the following error message: The file file name on Windows 2000 product name CD-ROM is needed.
Type the path where the file is located, and then click OK. CAUSEThis issue occurs if both the following conditions are true:
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, use one of the following methods. Method 1Delete the InstallFilesPath=c:\sysprep\i386 entry in the [Unattended] section of the Sysprep.inf file. This entry specifies the location of files that Mini-Setup requires. These files include a language file for installing an additional code page.Additionally, the installation folder that the InstallFilesPath entry specifies may be referenced when Mini-Setup uses the Cmdlines.txt file to install a program. You can delete this entry when you do not have to add a language file or install a program after you run Sysprep. Method 2Prepare the required folders and files. When the Sysprep.inf file includes the InstallFilesPath entry, the folder and subfolder that InstallFilesPath specifies are used as an installation folder. When you include the InstallFilesPath=c:\sysprep\i386 entry in Sysprep.inf, you can avoid the problem by creating the following folders and populating them with the required files:
If you do not use the Cmdlines.txt file to install additional programs or if you do not use a file that specifies a language codepage, delete the InstallFilesPath entry from the [Unattended] section of the Sysprep.inf file.
