INTRODUCTION

This article describes the Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services issue that is fixed in the Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services post-Service Pack 1 hotfix package that is dated December 18, 2004.

Issue that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • A list contains a lookup column that retrieves user information. You convert the List View Web Part to Extensible StyleSheet Language Transformation (XSLT) Data View. When you view the list, and then click the user information link of a list item, the User information: UserName page for that user is displayed in your Web browser. The user information link of list items do not connect you to the public view of the My Site personal site of the user as expected.
