CAUSEThis problem occurs if your intranet site name contains periods, such as "http://Site_Name.Extension." To store passwords, Expression Web, SharePoint Designer 2007, and FrontPage use the Internet and Security settings in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Because of this, these programs interpret an intranet site name in this format as an Internet Zone site. Therefore, these programs use your Internet Zone security settings when you open the intranet site. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, you must add the intranet site name to the Intranet Zone.
