SYMPTOMS

When you use an IDE magneto-optical (MO) drive, and you query the drive before it is ready, the drive is stuck in a loop in the Fastfat.sys file.

CAUSE

This problem occurs because of how the Fastfat.sys file controls the volume control blocks.
