On This PageSYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Commerce Server 2002 Feature Pack 1 (FP1), when you try to import an XML file, the import operation fails and you receive an error message that is similar to the following:

Event Source: Commerce Server 2002 Event Category: None Event ID: 4101 Description: Commerce Server: The Product 'ProductName' already exists in the Catalog 'CatalogName'. Products in a catalog should be unique. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
