HTML Help files do not work correctly after you uninstall security update 890175 (MS05-001)

SYMPTOMS

After you uninstall security update 890175 (MS05-001), you may experience the following symptoms:
HTML Help files do not work correctly.
HHCtrl objects on an HTML page are not rendered correctly.
Users who do not have administrative credentials may not be able to access some Help files. These Help files may include Help files for the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) and the Microsoft Management Console (MMC).
Note HTML Help file functionality is only affected after you uninstall security update 890175.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you install security update 890175 before you install critical update 811630, and you then uninstall security update 890175.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install critical update 811630, and then reinstall security update 890175.
