A form does not receive all the items from a Windows SharePoint Services library or from a Windows SharePoint Services list in InfoPath

SYMPTOMS

When you create a form in Microsoft Office InfoPath 2007 or in Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) that receives data from a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services library or from a Windows SharePoint Services list, the form does not receive all the items from the library or from the list. The number of items that the form receives is equal to the item limit that is set for the main view of the Windows SharePoint Services library or of the Windows SharePoint Services list. This behavior occurs even if you select a different view that has a different item count.

Note The maximum limit of the Windows SharePoint Services library items displayed on a page is 100.

Steps to reproduce the behavior

Start InfoPath. Create a new blank form.
Create a new data connection. To do this, follow these steps:
1. On the Tools menu, click Data Connections.
2. In the Data Connections dialog box, click Add.
3. In the Data Connection Wizard, click Receive data, and then click Next.
4. Click SharePoint library or list, and then click Next.
5. Type the location of the Windows SharePoint Services site that you want to use as your data connection, or type the complete URL to your Windows SharePoint Services list. For example, type a URL that is similar to one of the following:
  - http://yourserver/yoursite/
  - http://yourserver/yoursite/yourlist/Forms/AllItems.aspx
  Click Next.
6. Select the library or the list that you want to use, and then click Next.
7. Click to select the check boxes for the fields that you want to receive, and then click Next.
8. In InfoPath 2007, click Next two times. If you are using InfoPath 2003, go to the next step.
9. Type a name for this data connection, and then click Finish.
10. In the Data Connections dialog box, click Close.
Insert the list as a repeating table. To do this, follow these steps:
1. On the Insert menu, click More Controls.
2. In the Controls task pane, click to clear the Automatically create data source check box.
3. Under Insert controls, click Repeating Table.
4. In the Repeating Table Binding wizard, click the data connection that you created in step 4. Click the repeating group that you want to bind the table rows to, and then click Next.
5. To add the columns that you want to include in the table, double-click the fields in the Data binding list. Click Finish.
On the standard toolbar, click Preview Form.
