Microsoft has released the Project 2003 post-Service Pack 1 hotfix package for Microsoft Office Project 2003. This article describes the following items about the hotfix package:

INTRODUCTION

This article describes the Project 2003 issue that is fixed in the Project 2003 post-Service Pack 1 hotfix package that is dated January 28, 2005.

This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • 890750  (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/890750/ ) You receive a "The project is not checked out to you." error message when you use Project 2003 Professional to open a project that is stored in Project Server 2003

Prerequisites

This hotfix is a Project 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) hotfix. To install the hotfix, you must have Microsoft Project 2003 SP1 installed.
