Issue that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article.

Text at the end of some lines in your drawing is truncated when you print the drawing to a PostScript printer

When you print a Visio 2003 drawing to a PostScript printer, text at the end of some lines is truncated. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
- The page orientation of the drawing is set to the Landscape setting. Or, the page orientation of the drawing is set to the Portrait setting, and the text in the drawing is rotated.
- The printer uses a dots per inch (dpi) setting that is not a multiple of 300. For example, instead 300 dpi, 600 dpi, or 1200 dpi, the dpi setting is 355 dpi or 525 dpi.

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
