On a SH4-based Microsoft Windows CE .NET 4.2 platform, Microsoft Internet Explorer may not render Web pages. Instead of the expected Web page, an Action Canceled Web page may appear in the Internet Explorer window.

This problem occurs because a calculation error in the URL Moniker Services (URLMON) component incorrectly causes the Internet Explorer browser control to stop rendering the Web page. This problem only occurs on the SH4 platform.

Restart requirement

After you install this software update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart your computer after you apply this software update.
