FIX: Files that are pasted in Windows Explorer may contain the same data when you have multiple file streams in an MFC-based application that was written in Visual C++ .NETArticle ID: 894084 - View products that this article applies to. SYMPTOMS When you use the CFSTR_FILECONTENT Clipboard format in a Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) based application that was written in Microsoft Visual C++ .NET 2003, the COleDataSource::CacheData function may not work correctly when you have multiple file streams. The following conditions may occur:
RESOLUTIONA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that this article describes. The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time tool in Control Panel.
