On This PageINTRODUCTIONLG has released the Media Center computer that is based on Windows XP Media Center Edition. The Media Center computer includes an internal infrared receiver. This article describes an update that adds the vendor ID (VID) and the product ID (PID) for the internal infrared receiver. This update enables Windows XP Media Center Edition to recognize the internal infrared receiver. Additionally, the internal infrared receiver will be enumerated in Device Manager.
