When this problem occurs, these lost messages do not appear in the Health and Activity Tracking (HAT) center. Additionally, corresponding events are logged in the Application log. CAUSEThis problem may occur if BizTalk Server temporarily loses connectivity with the remote Microsoft SQL Server database. In this situation, the BizTalk Server File adapter may lose some messages while the File adapter is transferring these messages to the remote SQL Server database. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004 service pack that contains this hotfix.To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Product Support Services to obtain the hotfix.
