Article ID: 896152 - Last Review: July 11, 2006 - Revision: 2.5 FIX: The exception handler in Orchestration is not triggered if you experience an error in your outbound map in BizTalk Server 2004On This PageSYMPTOMSYou configure the following scenario in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004:
CAUSEThis problem occurs because the exception handler for the SOAP exception is not triggered in the orchestration. Therefore, the orchestration continues as if no error occurred. When this problem occurs, Health and Activity Tracking (HAT) displays this document as having a status of "Delivered Not Consumed" instead of displaying the document as having a status of "Suspended." Because your trading partner does not receive a response document, your trading partner may resend the original document. Resending the original document causes duplicate documents to be generated.
