Problems updating Money 2005

If the updates do not install after you follow the steps that are outlined in this article, there may be a third-party program that is running on your computer. The third-party program may be preventing Money from being able to download the updates. Typical software that prevents Microsoft Money's installation are firewalls and some antivirus programs. You will have to configure the firewall or the antivirus program to let Money access the Internet. For more information, see the documentation that came with the antivirus or firewall software. See the documentation for your firewall or antivirus software for more information.

If you do not have any firewall or antivirus software installed on your computer, your installation of Money may be damaged. To resolve this problem, remove and then reinstall Money 2005.
