Issues that the hotfix package fixes
This hotfix package fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
| • | When you insert a bitmap image that contains a foreground image and a background image, the background image may be split and rotated.
|
| • | When you print a document that contains a grayscale image to a color printer, the image may not print. This problem may occur when the following conditions are true: | • | The printer is set to print the document in color. | | • | You set a color to be transparent in the image. |
|
| • | When you insert a .tif image in a document, a blank picture frame may appear in the document instead of the .tif image. This problem may occur if the .tif image contains a CMYK profile.

| • | The full-file version of this hotfix is also the administrative version of this hotfix. You can install this version of the hotfix on a computer that is running Office XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). However, we have tested this hotfix on a computer that is running Office XP SP3 more extensively than we have on a computer that is running Office XP SP2. If you install this hotfix on a computer that is running Office XP SP2, some file conflicts may occur. We support this configuration, but we do not recommend it. |
