How to specify the language that is used for non-Unicode programs
1.
Click Start, click Run, type intl.cpl, and then click OK.
2.
Click the Advanced tab.
3.
In the Select a language to match the language version of the non-Unicode programs you want to use box, click the locale that you want, and then click OK.
If you are using one of the new locales, and you want to remove update 897338 from the computer, change the locale to a locale that is not one of the locales that are listed in the "New language locales that are included in update 897338" section. To change the locale, follow these steps.
Note Perform this procedure for every user profile on the computer that is using one of the new locales.

Use an account that has administrator credentials to log on to the computer.
2.
Click Start, click Run, type intl.cpl, and then click OK.

For non-Unicode-based programs, follow these steps:
a.
Click the Advanced tab.

In the Select a language to match the language version of the non-Unicode programs you want to use box, click a locale that is not listed in the "New language locales that are included in update 897338" section, and then click OK.
For Unicode-based programs, follow these steps:

Click the Regional Options tab.

In the Select an item to match its preferences, or Click Customize to choose your own formats box, click a locale that is not listed in the "New language locales that are included in update 897338" section, and then click OK.
