FIX: The calendar control selects the whole year if you use the up-down control to scroll the year value backward in Windows CE 5.0

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Windows CE 5.0, the calendar control selects the whole year if you scroll the year value backward by using the associated up-down control.

This problem occurs because the event handler for the up-down control sets the selection start. However, the event handler does not set the end date. When you move the year backward by using the up-down control, this behavior causes the whole year to be selected.

Prerequisites

This software update is supported only if all previously issued software updates for this product have also been installed.

Restart requirement

After you install this software update, you must perform a clean build of the whole platform. To clean the platform, click Clean on the Build menu. To build the platform, click Build Platform on the Build menu. You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this software update.
