You click the Link to Outlook option in a Calendar or Events list on a Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services site. When you click Yes to confirm that you want to add the Windows SharePoint Services folder to Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, you receive the following error message: An error occurred adding the following Windows SharePoint Services
folder to Outlook: username - Events (http://SharePoint URL) Outlook can't add the folder because creating a new Personal Folders (.pst) file isn't allowed on this computer. CAUSEThis problem may occur if the network administrator has added the DisablePST registry value to prevent users from creating or accessing Microsoft Outlook personal folder (.pst) files on the computer. RESOLUTIONThis problem was first fixed in a hotfix that is now contained in a service pack. If you installed the latest Office 2003 service pack, you do not have to install the hotfix.
