When you click a command on the Outlook Connector menu, Outlook 2002, Outlook 2003, or MSN may stop responding

SYMPTOMS

When you click a command on the Outlook Connector menu, Microsoft Outlook 2002, Microsoft Office Outlook 2003, or the MSN service may stop responding.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when Microsoft Internet Explorer is in an inconsistent state.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, do the following:
  1. Close all open windows in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Then, end all processes in Internet Explorer.
  2. To end all processes in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
    1. Right-click the Taskbar, and then click Task Manager.
    2. Click the Processes tab.
    3. Click Image Name to sort the processes.
    4. Right-click each iexplore.exe process, and then click End Process.
  3. On the Outlook Connector menu, click the command that you want.
