Typically, this problem occurs when multiple clients query the computer where the .NET Framework 1.1 or the .NET Framework 1.1 SP1 is installed for ASP.NET performance data. CAUSEThis problem occurs because of a race condition in Aspnet_isapi.dll. When this race condition occurs, a thread is not created for the client computer to query for ASP.NET performance data. RESOLUTIONService pack informationTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows Server 2003.
