INTRODUCTIONThis article describes changes to how the Microsoft .NET Framework QuickStart tutorials are hosted on a computer that is running the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 Software Development Kit (SDK). The changes are compared to how the Microsoft .NET Framework QuickStart tutorials are hosted on a computer that is running the
Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 Software Development Kit (SDK). MORE INFORMATIONWhen you install the .NET Framework 1.1 SDK, the .NET Framework QuickStart configuration program creates a directory in Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) that is named ASPPlus. Additionally, the .NET Framework 1.1 SDK installs the WebIPSetting.exe file. However, when you install the .NET Framework 2.0 SDK, the ASPPlus directory is not created in IIS, and the .NET Framework 2.0 SDK does not install the WebIPSetting.exe file. REFERENCESFor more information about how to configure the computer to host the .NET Framework
2.0 SDK QuickStart tutorials, see the Configdetails.htm file that is included
in the .NET Framework 2.0 SDK.
