Note Service Pack 1 is included in x64-based versions of Windows Server 2003. CAUSEThis problem occurs because the HashKey function is exported incorrectly as multi-byte characters instead of as Unicode characters when some programs call this function. The HashKey function is in the Mfc42u.dll file. The Mfc42u.dll file is included with Windows Server 2003 SP1. RESOLUTIONService pack informationTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows Server 2003.
