Note The tool does not make any registry changes or modifications to the operating system. Obtain and then install the toolThe following file is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center:Collapse this image ![]() Note In the file name, Computer_name is the name of the computer. This file contains the reports that are generated by the tool. If the .cab file is not created, copy all the files in the %SystemRoot%\MPSReports\COM folder to a compressed file. Send the .cab file or the compressed file to the Microsoft Support Professional by using the method that the Microsoft Support Professional specifies. Note The %SystemRoot% folder is the folder where you installed the operating system. Typically, the %SystemRoot% folder is the C:\Winnt folder or the C:\Windows folder.
