Instead, you visit the Microsoft Update Web site. This symptom occurs if you perform either of the following actions:
CAUSEThis issue occurs if the computer is configured to use Microsoft Update instead of Windows Update. After you configure the computer to use Microsoft Update instead of Windows Update, existing Windows Update shortcuts are automatically redirected to the Microsoft Update Web site. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, and to again visit the Windows Update Web site when you click Windows Update, disable Microsoft Update.
