When you try to resume a DVD in Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, the DVD restarts from the beginning instead of resuming from where you last stopped the DVD.
CAUSE
This problem may occur in either of the following scenarios.
WORKAROUND
To work around the problem that is described in Scenario 2 of the "Cause" section, click Play DVD in the Media Center window to start the DVD. Do not use the media notification dialog box that appears when you insert a DVD. For example, follow these steps to work around this problem:
