SYMPTOMS

On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX 3.5, when you try to run Cmd.exe from a telnet session, the command does not run. Additionally, you are prompted for the next command.

RESOLUTION

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
