SYMPTOMS

On a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer that has Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4) installed, Microsoft Office programs may stop responding when you save a new file to a floppy disk drive. For example, when you save a new Microsoft Word document to a floppy disk drive, Word may stop responding.

Method 1: Install version 2 of Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 SP4

To install version 2 of Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 SP4, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
