SYMPTOMS

You use the Fill Color tool to apply a color to a shape in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003. However, the color that you apply to the shape is not selected as the current color in the Fill Color tool color scheme.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Double-click the shape to open the Format AutoShape dialog box.
  2. Click the Colors and Lines tab.
  3. Under Fill, click the arrow next to the color that is displayed.
  4. Make sure that the color that is applied to the shape is selected in the Fill Color tool color scheme.
