You may receive a "One or more of the files you have selected is not a supported file" error message when you try to copy a recorded TV show to a video DVD in Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005

When you try to use the Create CD/DVD experience in Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 to copy a recorded TV show to a video DVD, you may receive the following error message:

This problem may occur if the system drive of the Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005-based computer is one terabyte (TB) or larger.

Notes

• The system drive is the drive on which Windows is installed or the drive from which Windows runs.
• One terabyte is equal to 1,024 gigabytes (GB).

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
