INTRODUCTION

This article describes the Outlook 2002 issues that are fixed in the Outlook 2002 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix package that is dated August 30, 2005.

Issues that the hotfix package fixes

The following issue is fixed in this hotfix package:

905814 (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/905814/ ) You receive an "Unable to update Public free/busy data" error message when you quit Outlook 2002 after you add a new appointment to a delegate's calendar

This hotfix package also fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

You use a custom form that contains additional text fields in Outlook 2002. The focus in the form is lost when you do either of the following things:
- You minimize the form, and then you restore the form.
- You press ALT+TAB to switch to another program, and then you press ALT+TAB to switch back to the custom form.
When you click Save and Close on the Standard toolbar in Outlook 2002 to close an item, the InspectorClose event may not occur.

Prerequisites

The optimized version of this hotfix and the full-file version of this hotfix are post-Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) hotfixes. To install these hotfixes, you must have Office XP SP3 installed.
