How to connect your Xbox 360 console to your TV or monitor using an Xbox 360 Composite AV Cable

1. Turn off the TV, and then turn off the Xbox console.
2. Connect the AV connector to the AV port on the Xbox console.
3. Connect the color-coded connectors on the Xbox Composite AV Cable to the corresponding ports on the TV. Connect yellow to yellow for composite video, red to red for right-channel analog audio, and white to white for left-channel analog audio. Note that the AV ports on the television may be located on the front or on back of the TV.
   
   Notes
   • Monaural (mono) TVs have only one audio jack. For a mono TV, connect either the right (red) or left (white) audio connector to the audio port of the TV.
   • If you use the SCART adapter with this cable, make sure that the connectors are connected to the correct color-coded ports on the adapter, and then plug the cable and the adapter into an available SCART connection port. SCART connectors are primarily used in the United Kingdom, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.
4. Select the appropriate video input on your television to display Xbox games. The following list contains common names for video inputs jacks:
   • Input select
   • AUX
   • Line In
   • Input
   • Source
   • Video 1
   • EXT
   The names of the input jacks that are used by different TV manufacturers vary. See your TV owner's manual for more information.
