Office 2003 SP2 also fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in the Microsoft Knowledge Base.

You cannot insert clip art into an Office 2003 object in a program that is not an Office 2003 program

When you try to insert clip art into an Office 2003 object in a program that is not an Office 2003 program, such as WordPad, nothing happens. For example, when you point to Picture on the Insert menu and then click Clip Art in the Office 2003 object, the Clip Art task pane does not open.

A control in a UserForm may be selected and then deleted when you try to find help in the Visual Basic Editor

Consider the following scenario. You create a UserForm in the Visual Basic Editor (VBE) in an Office 2003 program. Additionally, you add several controls to the UserForm. Then, you type a question in the Type a question for help box and press ENTER. If you click in the Type one or more keywords box and then press the LEFT ARROW key, a control in the UserForm is selected. If you then press DELETE, the control is deleted.

The time in the Date Taken field is incorrect in Picture Manager

When you use Microsoft Office Picture Manager to view the properties of a picture that was taken by using a digital camera, the time in the Date Taken field is incorrect.

The license-checking functionality is removed from Outlook Web Access

Office 2003 SP2 removes the license-checking functionality that was provided in earlier versions of Microsoft Outlook Web Access.

The data in a text file that contains Chinese characters is truncated or missing in an OWC component

You use the Microsoft Office Web Components (OWC) Spreadsheet component to view the data in a text file that contains Chinese characters. If the text file is loaded into the OWC Spreadsheet component by using the Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) LoadText method of the Range object, some of the data in the text file is truncated or missing in the OWC Spreadsheet component.

You are prompted to acquire a new license when you open an Information Rights Management-protected document in an Office viewer

Every time that you open an Information Rights Management-protected document in a Microsoft Office 2003 viewer, you are prompted to acquire a new license.

An e-mail message or an attachment becomes corrupted when you save an e-mail message that contains an attachment

Consider the following scenario. You open a document that was received as an attachment to an e-mail message. Then, you close the message without closing the attached document. When you are prompted to save the message, you click Yes. If the message is an RTF-formatted message, the body of the message is lost. If the message is an HTML-formatted message or a plain text-formatted message, the message contains a message.rpmsg attachment. Additionally, the original attachment becomes corrupted.

You are prompted for the Product Key when you start an Office 2003 program after you install Office 2003 on a computer that has a preinstalled OEM version of Office 2003

Consider the following scenario. You have a computer that has a preinstalled original equipment manufacturer (OEM) version of Office 2003. Additionally, you install a retail copy of Office 2003 and provide the Office 2003 Product Key during the installation. When you try to start an Office 2003 program, you are prompted for the Office 2003 Product Key.

Note This problem may occur if you have not previously run an Office 2003 program from the preinstalled OEM version of Office 2003 before you install the retail copy of Office 2003.

A new summary document can be created from an Information Rights Management-protected document

You open an Information Rights Management-protected document in Word 2003. If you click AutoSummarize on the Tools menu, you can create a new document that contains the summary. With an Information Rights Management-protected document, you would expect not to be able to create a new document that contains the summary.

The status of Communicator 2005 team members is not displayed in Office 2003 programs

You are not prompted to trust a signed add-in when you use high security in Office 2003

You start an Office 2003 program that contains a signed add-in. If you have the macro Security Level set to High, you are not prompted to trust the add-in. Additionally, the functionality of the add-in is not available. This problem occurs when the path of the add-in .dll file contains quotation marks in the Windows registry.

You cannot open InfoPath 2003 forms when the Internet zone in Internet Explorer is set to high security

When the Internet zone in Microsoft Internet Explorer is set to high security, you cannot open Microsoft Office InfoPath 2003 forms.
