INTRODUCTION

You can use a Groove account on up to five computers. In Microsoft Office Groove 2007, Groove 2007 must already be installed and licensed on the other computers. In earlier versions of Groove, the license was associated with the account, rather than the installation.

In all versions of Groove, you can access your Groove workspaces, contacts, and account data from each computer on which the account is installed when you use a single Groove account on different computers.

To access the Groove data from other computers, you must import an existing account. Do not create a new account that has the same information as the original account. A second account will not give you access to the data from the first account.

If you want to use different names for different contexts, you can create multiple identities within a single account. For example, you may want to use different names for work use and for personal use.
