To remove the faceplate from an Xbox 360 console

  1. Close the disc tray, and remove memory units.
  2. Turn off the console.
  3. While holding the console firmly, push the faceplate away from the console with your thumbs.

    Note You will need to use some force to remove the faceplate.

To attach the faceplate to an Xbox 360 console

  1. Align the tabs on the faceplate with the slots on the console.
  2. Press the faceplate firmly until it clicks into place.
