To attach or remove the faceplate on your Xbox 360 console, follow these steps:
- Close the disc tray, remove memory units, and then turn off your Xbox 360 console.
- While holding your console firmly, push your fingers inside the USB door on the front of the console. Now begin to pull the faceplate away from the console.

- Use your thumb to push the faceplate away from the console.

To attach the faceplate to your Xbox 360 console:
- Align the tabs on the faceplate with the slots on your console.
- Press the faceplate firmly until it clicks into place.
