If one red light is flashing and you receive a different error message or error code than those that were described previously or you don’t receive an error message or code, your console may be experiencing a different issue. In this case, see "References/links."

CAUSE

This problem occurs when your Xbox 360 console experiences a hardware failure.

THINGS TO TRY

  1. Turn off your console, disconnect and reconnect all cables, and then turn on your console.
  2. If an Xbox Hard Drive is attached to your console, turn off your console, and then remove the Xbox Hard Drive. Turn on your console, and test for the error. If the error does not reoccur, turn off your console and reattach the Xbox Hard Drive. Run alternate additional tests by having the Xbox Hard Drive connected and disconnected to see whether the error occurs only when the Xbox Hard Drive is connected. Run alternate tests by having the MU connected and disconnected to see whether the error occurs only when the MU is connected.
