You may receive a "STOP 0x0000000A" error message on a Windows 2000-based computer that is running Windows Services for UNIX

SYMPTOMS

On a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer that is running Microsoft Windows Services for UNIX, you may receive a Stop error message that is similar to the following:
STOP 0x0000000A (parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Note On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, this problem does not occur in the Server for Network File System (NFS) component or in Windows Services for UNIX 3.5.

CAUSE

This problem may occur if you are running version 6.3.1.1 of the Alacritech accelerator driver. The problem occurs because of an issue in the Server for NFS RpcXdr.sys driver.
