CAUSEThis issue may occur if Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components
version 2 or Microsoft Office 2003 Web Components version 3 is installed on the
computer. Notes:
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, use one of the following methods as
appropriate. Method 1: Office 2003 Web Components version 3 is installed on the computerNo action is required. This version of the Office Web Components is up to date.Method 2: Office 2003 Web Components version 2 is installed on the computerTo resolve this issue, follow these steps:
MORE INFORMATIONWhen you experience the behavior that is mentioned in the
"Symptoms" section, you may receive a message at the end of the Office 2003 SP2
installation that states that Office 2003 SP2 was not successfully installed.
In this case, the Office 2003 Office Web Components were not successfully
installed. However, the rest of Office 2003 SP2 was successfully installed. If
you installed the Office XP Office Web Components from the Office 2003 CD-ROM,
Office XP Web Components Service Pack 2 (SP2) will also be successfully
installed when you install Office 2003 SP2.
