On This PageSYMPTOMSThe SQLGetPrivateProfileString function is a Microsoft Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) function in Microsoft Data Access Components (MDAC) 2.8. When an application uses the SQLGetPrivateProfileString function, some internal memory allocations become corrupted. Additionally, unhandled exceptions occur in the application when the following conditions are true:
