SYMPTOMS

When you try to transfer an item from one storage device (the source) to another storage device (the destination), you receive the following error message:

This item cannot be transferred between storage devices.

CAUSE

With the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, you cannot transfer some kinds of items from one storage device to another storage device.

To save the item to the destination storage device, follow the same steps that you followed to save the item to the source storage device.
