View pictures from a portable device

To view pictures from a portable device on your Xbox 360 console, you must have a USB cable and a compatible portable device, such as a digital camera or a mass storage device. Also, you must have pictures in the correct file format. You view the pictures from the Media section in the Xbox Dashboard.
Note Some cameras may appear from the Dashboard as portable devices and not as digital cameras. This behavior is by design. Cameras that use USB mass storage appear as portable devices.
