SYMPTOMSWhen you enable the Automatic Updates service, you experience one or more of the following symptoms:
Note This issue does not affect updates that come from Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), from the Microsoft Windows Update Web site, or from the Microsoft Update Web site. CAUSEDuring periods of heavy download traffic, the Automatic Updates service can reschedule download requests on a day-to-day basis. This rescheduling can occur over several days. RESOLUTIONThe Automatic Updates service is designed to resume and complete the download as quickly as possible. Usually, the update will usually be downloaded and installed in several days. However, you can manually install the updates. To do this, follow these steps:
