This article also describes how to determine whether the update is installed. INTRODUCTIONMicrosoft has released an update for Microsoft Office XP. This update provides Rich Text Format improvements. The update also provides the framework for a converter. The converter opens and saves files by using the Open XML file format that is new to the 2007 Microsoft Office system. The steps in this article apply to the Beta version of the framework.
