You cannot use a Bluetooth device that has an alphanumeric PIN code with Windows Mobile

SYMPTOMS

You may find that your Bluetooth device does not work with your Microsoft Windows Mobile-based device.

CAUSE

This problem may occur because your Bluetooth device has a PIN code that includes alphanumeric characters. However, Windows Mobile for Smartphone and PocketPC devices only allows for the PIN code to contain numeric characters.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, change the PIN code on the Bluetooth device to include only numeric characters.
