An unexpected error occurred during replication of drive:\ on computer name (ID 104) The replica of drive:\ on computer name is inconsistent with the protected data source. All protection activities for data source will fail until the replica is synchronized with consistency check. (ID 3106)
The DPM File Agent failed to perform a consistency check on file \\?\Volume{GUID}\Pagefile.sys for volume drive:\ on computer name. (ID 50 Details: The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process (0x80070020)) The replica of drive:\ on computer name is inconsistent with the protected data source. All protection activities for data source will fail until the replica is synchronized with consistency check. (ID 3106) CAUSEThis problem occurs because of the following reasons. Error Message 1 You receive this error message because the DPM File Agent (MsDPMFsAgent.exe) tries to set the ShortFileName attribute of a folder while it holds a handle open to one or more subfolders of that folder. Error Message 2 You receive this error message because a new file was created on the file server that has the same name as the short name of an existing file. Error Message 3 You receive this error message because When a protection group is removed from protection, the FSFilter component on the DPM Server does not cleanup the registry entries for the volume protected by that protection group. When a new protection group is created for the same volume, it fails and triggers error 0x80070001. Error Message 4 You receive this error message when an uppercase "Pagefile.sys" file exists because when DPM 2006 tries to exclude the "pagefile.sys" file from protection, DPM 2006 incorrectly only recognizes and excludes the lowercase spelling of the “pagefile.sys” file. Error Message 4 You receive this error message because of a deadlock in the file system filter installed by DPM 2006.
