The cause for this behavior is unknown.

THINGS TO TRY

1.Download the Halo 2 autoupdate.
a. Have the host delete the game session.
b. Re-create the game session.
c. If you have access to Xbox Live, sign in to Xbox Live on each console, and then download the Halo 2 autoupdate.
Note You can trigger the autoupdate by having the Halo 2 disc in the disc tray when you sign in to Xbox Live.
